Grilled Cheese

April is coming up, and I recently found out that April is National Grilled Cheese month. I'm pumped because grilled cheese is one of my favorite foods. I'm a really simple eater, when my family goes out to fancy restaurants, I tend to either get a grilled cheese or a hamburger. My parents tell me I'm a "cheap date." When I ask for a grilled cheese, I always ask for it to be burnt. They're not good when the bread is still the same color and smooshy, it needs to be brown and crispy. Mmmmmm.

5 Things I Love

Long hot showers- it gives you time to think
Japanese food- it's the best out there, especially the rice
Summer- it's not COLD. and it's sunny, and time for the lake and pool and no school!
Old songs- they bring back memories
flip flops- theyre easy to put on

Alex Pettyfer

Alex Pettyfer stars in "I am Number Four" and "Beastly." He is EXTREMELY attractive. The movies were not that great, but he made up for it because he's so hot. Tell me what you think. (it's impossible to disagree)

   

Spring Break

I love spring break! It's a nice break from school to chill on the beach and get a good tan. I'm glad that prom is one week after spring break because I will be tan! Bring on the sunshine

Vibram Five Fingers

I got these shoes a little before Christmas break, but they're not the average shoe. They look like toe socks, but in shoe form. I don't really know how to describe them, but I love them! Most people make fun of them, but their opinions don't really affect the way I feel about them because they're so awesome and no one else has them-- either because they're new or they think they're ugly.. Although, a few people have bought some thanks to seeing them on me. haha. Other people spaz out when they see them  because they have never seen such shoes and are amazed! They're quite difficult to put on because you have to put your toe through every slot, but once they're on, they feel great! You should definitely check them out and maybe even buy a pair. You either love them or hate them, I definitely LOVE them. But I still don't have the guts to wear them to school.

Warm Weather

Finally- the temperature has been in the 50s all weekend! I love being able to wear tshirts, shorts, and flip flops. It feels great driving around, with the sunroof and windows down, jamming to U2's "Beautiful Day." I can't wait for summer to be here!

Five Guys Burgers and Fries

Oh my gosh! Five Guys is seriously the best place around town to grab a cheese burger and amazing fries! I absolutely LOVE it! They grill the burgers right there, and boy are they are delicious! I know I am not getting some frozen nastiness that you will get at other restaurants. Make sure you ask for the little burger if you aren't very hungry though, or else you will get 2 patties. Just writing this makes my mouth drool.

Dad Knows Best

It just hit me today that I love when my dad lectures me on life lessons. He's the type of guy that when you ask a simple question, he will go on and on and on... He's extremely deep and is more of a thinker than a talker. Today, he noticed that I was bummed out. He told me, "You know what's bad about being in a bad mood? It only affects you, you're punishing yourself. No one else is affected when your'e mad." He didn't say those exact words, but it was something like that. And he went on for a good 15 minutes, but that was the main point. It made me realize that I am only hurthing myself because no one cares if I'm sad or mad. People like to be surrounded by happy people. His words made me feel much better.

Snow days

Too many people find too many reasons to hate their lives. I've decided to post a weekly blog on random reasons to love life. It will vary from being alive to awesome things that happen in my life, which make me smile and think to myself, "Man… I love life." Hopefully these things will relate to you, and make you start loving life!

Well, today is Friday, which means it's a school day. However, this Friday is special because snow and ice covered the roads... Which brings me to something I love, SNOW DAYS! Snow days are great to catch up on homework, give you an extra day to study for tests and they are great for catching up on sleep! In the younger days, I would go sledding with my friends, this just shows how much a snow day's purpose changes the older you get.
